Dark, Unknown Contraption

Item Name: Dark, Unknown Contraption.
Item Type: Artefact.
Description:
A piece of dark and slate material engraved in a particular carving which circles around a broken, green gem. Upon further investigation one could notice the faded carving resemble demonic letters.
It seems to be some kind of device, but what could be its purpose?
It is best not to let this fall into the hands of the wrong creatures.

Effect: Unknown Effect. Occasional shivering whispers heard upon contact with the object.
Additional note: This particular item was found upon the coast of Feralas, approached by Satyrs before obtained by the Moonglaive Sisterhood.
